# Fleet Team Promotions

To become a Captain you must work your way up. Start as a Crew Member. Once you have earned enough Contribution Value Points, you can prove yourself to your Captain to earn a First Officer Promotion Certificate, OR buy a First Officer Promotion Certificate from the market. The First Officers will become Captains when they have accumulated a certain number of CVPs and thus get the Captain's unique rights and benefits.

**Promotion from Crew member to First Officer**&#x20;

&#x20; Crew Members with an excellent performance record  will have the opportunity to become a First Officer, which requires 3 conditions to be achieved:

1. &#x20;Having a Prospector NFT of any level.&#x20;
2. &#x20;Having one First Officer Promotion Certificate and staking it.
3. &#x20;Have earned at least 5,000 Contribution Value Points.

**Promote from First Officer to Captain**&#x20;

First Officers will have the opportunity to become Captains, which requires 2 conditions to be achieved.

1. Staking a First Officer NFT.
2. Have Earned at least 25,000 Contribution Value Points

**Access for Captains to Mint the First Officer Promotion Certificate**

The captains will have the opportunity to mint the First Officer Promotion Certificate, which requires 1 condition to be achieved.

1. Every 2000 contribution value earned, captains can apply for mining one First Officer Promotion Certificate.
